Between the ages of 6 to 8 I would be in the kitchen standing on a chair putting different kinds of seasonings into the pot of Ravioli that was being prepared for me and my brother. I’m now remembering the look on their faces as they forced themselves to get through that meal. It's actually funny because at that age I never wanted to be a Chef, I had a different white coat in mind!
As I continued getting older I enjoyed watching my mother cook and bake. If you know Sheila then you know what I mean. She would often allow me to accompany her in the kitchen where the little girl in me and her love for creating came back to life, sparked by my mother's soul watching her in her element. My passion and creativity for food runs deep in me.
I love making people happy every single day with my craft. I love the freedom to experiment with a variety of food on a daily basis. Most of my menu items are literally different ingredients I've dreamt about and found a way for them to live in harmony in my pot and on your plate. I love the feeling of seeing a beautiful plate and knowing I did that! But most importantly, I love the customers who make it a point to compliment their meal.
